Azúcar! Dance Company

Azúcar! is a Shines team directed by Rebecca Sweet and Nancy Xu. The team performs works by a variety of choreographers at dance congresses and festivals around the United States They have performed at the DC Salsa Congress, For the Love of Bachata, Columbus Salsa Weekend, Charlotte’s Salsa and Bachata festival, the Canada Salsa and Bachata Festival, the Victor Manuelle concert at Nautica in the Cleveland Flats, and for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Additional performances are at dance studios, clubs, and other local performance venues.  Both Azucar and Saoco have choreography by Melissa Rosado, Rebecca Sweet, Angel Martinez, and Ismael Otero from NYC.
