Evan Schreiber is a west coast swing dancer and an active competitor at the WSDC Advanced level. He discovered the dance when he moved to the West Coast in 2019 and knew after his first lesson that it would become his new hobby. He loves how elastic and smooth WCS feels, like a more casual combination of different ballroom and Latin dances on which he had previously focused.

Before turning his attention to WCS, Evan was a ballroom dancer for 10 years. He won numerous awards and titles in the national collegiate and amateur adult ballroom dance circuits, including becoming the 2016 Nine Dance National Champion.

In addition to regularly travelling to dance socially and competitively around the country, Evan teaches multiple WCS classes around Cleveland, his hometown. He is excited to help grow the local WCS community and share his love for his favorite dance.
