First and foremost, Corey Flowers is the proud father of two sons. By the age of 10, Corey competed and won many awards in tap dancing, ballet and jazz. He was introduced to couples dancing in 2005, and by early 2011; couples dancing became a serious pursuit.
Since then, Corey has honed his dancing skillsets, and has taught numerous styles of dance such as Blues, Carolina Shag, Lindy, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle and Fusion.
Corey has competed across the US, earning placements at events in San Diego, Houston, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Phoenix, and Detroit to name a few. Corey has become an advanced-level competitor on the WSDC circuit and a 2013 AANCE Champion.
At Viva, Corey conducts weekly West Coast Swing lessons, and once-a-month Sunday dance sessions called the Westie Sunday Skool.
