One of the most prominent social dancers in the Cleveland area, Brandon has quickly risen in the dance community and even been coined the nickname the “Bachata King.” Winner of multiple local bachata dance competitions at Shooters and Nazca, Brandon has developed a unique style of bachata that blends traditional dominican style with urban and sensual styles. He has traveled and attended Bachata and Kizomba congresses learning from some of the very best bachateros and kizomberos in the country.
Brandon was initially introduced to the kizomba through good friend and national kizomba figure, Benga Dabeatz. Not so long after, he developed a real passion for the dance and began traveling and taking workshops to enhance his skill level. Now, Brandon has moved to the forefront of the Cleveland kizomba scene and has begun giving back to the community through weekly and monthly classes.
No stranger to performances, Brandon is also a part of Cleveland’s premier mambo ny salsa on 2 dance team, Saoco de mambo. He has traveled the midwest to northeast region of the country doing performances, specifically in Columbus and Pittsburgh. He has also teamed with the Cleveland Rueda team on occasion and done multiple freestyle performances. Other honorable mentions: He has performed in bachata and kizomba alongside local latin dancers Amanda Poracky and Darlene Casselberry.
Brandon is truly passionate about dance and always looks forwards to sharing his abundant knowledge to current and future students.
